Our investment business
What Else Management FZCO, trading as The What Else Group, identifies and assesses investment opportunities with a focus on real estate, development finance and commercial partnerships.
We deploy our own capital and pursue selected transactions with developers and joint venture partners. Each opportunity is considered on its commercial merits, proposed structure, counterparties and route to realising value.
Alongside our investment activity, we provide business improvement and investment consulting to individuals and businesses. Our directors bring operating experience across mining, manufacturing, transport and pharmaceutical businesses, together with experience in commercial real estate finance.
Investment focus
We consider a range of investment strategies, including the following areas. Every opportunity is assessed on its own merits, with attention to counterparties, asset quality, structure and a credible exit.
We assess selected transactions where risks can be understood and priced, exposure can be structured and a credible exit can be identified.
We work alongside developers and business partners where capital, expertise and responsibilities can be aligned around a clear commercial opportunity.
We evaluate secured construction finance opportunities with attention to the borrower, project feasibility, security, delivery programme and source of repayment.
We look for assets where the acquisition price, underlying value and a practical repositioning or exit plan support the investment case.
